FEMA’s flood maps are often based on low resolution data that doesn't reflect the true topography of our land, potentially leading to inaccurate flood zone classifications and unnecessary insurance requirements.
WaterWise uses high resolution LiDAR data to perform accurate flood risk assessments. These can be used to challenge current FEMA designations and create updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs).
